Kathryn is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with 15 years experience working with autistic individuals and their families. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Biochemistry with a Spanish minor from the University of San Diego. She then went on to earn her Master of Arts in Child, Family, and School Psychology from the University of Denver. Kathryn became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in 2013.
Clinically she has worked in a variety of settings including home, clinic, school, and community-based ABA. She worked as a case supervisor overseeing behavior technicians and mid-level supervisors. Additionally, she served as the Senior ABA Site Manager for a large multi-disciplinary clinic in San Diego, overseeing the ABA programs at 3 locations within San Diego County.
Kathryn also has done extensive work with the Global Autism Project, including serving as a Skillcorps volunteer and trip leader traveling to the Dominican Republic, Kenya, and Indonesia. She was a Discovery Fellow for the organization, helping to review prospective partnership applications from ABA schools and centers around the world. In 2019 she served as the Regional Director of the Americas with Global Autism Project, conducting weekly partnership and clinical calls with the ABA centers in the Dominican Republic and Ecuador. During this role she also traveled to each site multiple times to provide on-site clinical consultation.
In 2023 Kathryn was awarded as a Top Professional in Behavioral Health Honoree by the San Diego Business Journal.
Kathryn’s clinical approach to working with individuals and their families is one rooted in empathy, collaboration, and flexibility. She believes strongly that parents are their child’s strongest advocate and, with the support of knowledgeable professionals, should be empowered to make decisions about their child’s therapy and educational journey.
