FROM "WHAT NOW" TO "I'VE GOT THIS" IN 90 DAYS
Your child is in services that feel right for them. You understand your options and more importantly, you understand which align with your values and lifestyle.
You walk into meetings knowing what you want out of them. You ask the questions in your head. You are an active participant in the meetings.
Your phone isn't full of 21 tabs on options and opinions. You can sit down on the couch with your spouse and have a real conversation. You're more present with your kids.
You have confidence in your decisions about your child's therapy and care.
You are responding to your child's needs, not just reacting.
You know how to advocate for your child at school, in therapy, and in the community.
Understand your child's diagnosis with more clarity and less fear
Create a personalized roadmap of therapies, services, and next steps that fit your child and family
Build home strategies that support connection, regulation, and calmer daily routines
Private sessions just with us. We work through my 3-part framework together. We start with building clarity and confidence before moving into strategic implementation. Then we finish our time together transforming you into an empowered advocate for your child. These are diagnosis questions, IEPs, sibling dynamics, sensory regulation, sleep, or communication to name a few.
This dedicated time lets you think out loud with someone who gets it, not a Facebook thread full of strangers. Carrying every question, doubt, and fear alone is exhausting.
You walk away with a clear, written next-steps document in your private Google Drive folder. You have enough on your plate already without thinking "wait, what was I supposed to do again?"
Decision fatigue is real and you only have so much space in your head. This plan lets you leave each call knowing exactly what to do next, in writing, in your own Google Drive folder. You don't have to have the entire mental load.
Send me an IEP, an evaluation, a service plan, or a report. I'll add my comments on what to ask, what to push for, and what to watch for.
IEPs, evaluations, and service plans aren't written for parents who sign them. They're written for the professionals who create them or the agency that pays for them. I'll help you understand what they're saying, figure out what to ask, where to push back, and what matters for your child.
You've already done the hardest thing and started looking for help. The next step is a free 15-minute Discovery Call. We'll talk about your child, where you are, and whether Foundations is the right fit. If I don't think it is, I'll be honest and will direct you to resources that may be a better fit for you this season.
If it is a fit, you walk away with a plan and we will walk this journey together. You'll feel that immediate weight lifted.
I'm Kathryn Petersen, MA, BCBA. I'm a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, a parent guide, and the person that hundreds of families have called when they didn't know who else to call.
I've spent over 15 years in this field working with clients and parents in clinic, home, and community spaces. I've gotten more panicked phone calls or texts than I can count. I've seen the system from the inside, and I've seen what it does to families who try to navigate it alone.
I built Foundations Coaching because the time after diagnosis needs more support than a pamphlet or a paragraph of "recommendations." The waitlists are long, the language is confusing, and moms are second-guessing every thought they've ever had about their child.
Moms need a real person who says "I can listen and understand." Someone who says "here's what to do today that won't overwhelm you into paralysis."
That's what I do.
